Our campaign ended last week, raising just under $180K with the help of 5,887 incredible backers! That's an astronomically larger number than what we were expecting from our initial goal of $6K. We can't thank you enough for your phenomenal support!
Final Stretch goal of $190K
We're just $10K short of unlocking our final stretch goal. We're too close not to do it, but it will require us to contrive a new way of manufacturing the Pocket Tripod in order to meet our budget. So right now we're in the process of testing new production methods with our manufacturer using a prototype mold. If the results are successful, we'll gladly reveal and unlock the feature for everyone. Stay tuned!
Backer Surveys
We're in the process of preparing the surveys, and we expect to have them sent out in the next 2 weeks. We're trying to make it as easy as possible for you to choose the right size for your phone and eliminate any guess work. So we really want to test as many phones and cases as possible and list their sizes before sending you the survey.
Android and Case users, we need your help!
There are lots of phone and case models that you've suggested to us, which we'd love to test with the Pocket Tripod. Accessing samples for some of them has been quite challenging. We've had a very exciting week. The Pocket Tripod was featured on TechCrunch. We had sent them samples of the Pocket Tripod for a hands-on review. Needless to say, TechCrunch loved the Pocket Tripod and called it "a tremendously useful piece of kit for smartphone photographers on the move". TechCrunch's Haje Jan Kamps gave his stamp of approval, said:
"I’ve spent a couple of days with one of the Pocket Tripod prototypes, and It works fantastically well."

Thanks to your overwhelming support, we've raised over $140K, crushing our first 6 stretch goals. Our last one at $190K is a real nice treat for all our backers. Testing more devices and cases
As you already know, we've tested many of the popular cases and phones and have listed the results on our Device Guide. But still, there a lot more out there that we haven't. We have a good idea of what we should test next, thanks to many of you who've suggested cases and devices.
We've asked some great brands to send us samples. Many of them were nice enough to do so, including Otterbox, Lifeproof, Moment, and Rhinoshield and we're waiting to receive their samples.
But we haven't gotten a response back from a few others. If you like to help get their attention, please ask the following brands to check out our campaign and send us samples so that we can test their products with the Pocket Tripod:

$100K stretch goal reached! Wow, thank you!

We're so excited to see the Pocket Tripod cross the $100K mark. According to Kickstarter's own statistics, only about 2.7% of all successful campaigns make it this far. We can't thank you enough for your overwhelming support!
$100K also marks our second stretch goal. Now anyone who's interested in getting the special edition colors will have access to choosing the most popular color, which is currently Chili. Although, we're confident that we'll pass the $110K mark by the end of the week, making Nebula an available color as well.
What size do I need?
Many of our backers who have unique cases or phones which we haven't tested yet have opened support tickets asking us to recommend a size. Our support team reads each email to determine the best size for each case. We've received hundreds of emails, so if we haven't replied yet, we really appreciate your patience while we get to you.
You can skip waiting for us and simply request a Fit Card, shipped to you for 99¢ anywhere in the world. Take note that there are two size ranges. If you have a large case, we recommend the 8.0mm-12.5mm one.
What if I don't find out what size I need in time?
Don't worry. You have until a couple of weeks before we ship your reward in October to change what size you need through the Backerkit survey. Meaning that if you change your phone or case by October, you can change the size you've requested as well. As long as we haven't shipped your reward, we don't mind if you ask for a different size. You will also use Backerkit to update your address if you move to a new location by then.
If by a rare chance, none of the 15 Pocket Tripod sizes fit your case or phone, just let us know and we'll refund your pledge. We don't think it would be fair for you to pay for something that you can't use. :-)
The Backerkit surveys will be sent out to you approximately 2 weeks after the Kickstarter campaign ends, so you can enter your address and device information.

First stretch goal reached and your favorite colors

Last week we introduced our stretch goals, and thanks to your enthusiastic support, we've already reached our first stretch goal.
$90K Stretch goal reached: All sizes available
When the campaign ends, you will have the option to choose your Pocket Tripod in any opening size, ranging as small as 5.5 mm and as wide as 12.5 mm. A few examples of compatibility of the new smaller sizes would be:
5.5 mm - Apple iPod Touch 6.0 mm - Apple iPhone 7 - *We will know the actual size when it's announced. 6.5 mm - Huawei Nexus 6p

So far all we know about the iPhone 7 are from leaks and rumors, which Martin Hajek has done some nice renders based of. But whatever size Apple announces this fall, we'll have a Pocket Tripod ready for it.
Your Favorite Colors
Thanks to over 600 people who voted, we have a clear picture of what your favorite colors are. So far the most popular color is Nebula, followed by Chili, Mint, Lava, and Bumble Bee.
We'll keep the polls open for the next 19 days, to give everyone a chance to have a say. We should reach our second stretch goal in a couple of more days, meaning that everyone who added $4 to their pledge amount can choose to receive the Nebula Pocket Tripod.
We had a few backers asking us how to add the extra $4 to their existing pledge. Please follow the visual guide below and if you still need help just message us back again. We'll be glad to help.
This works for any pledge level, including if you've pledged for the "gift box".
